I cannot express how good the staff are at Brunel, the recent passing of both my parents was a huge blow to us as a family and these precious people took care of everything, the Passion and the emotion that they put into their business shows they are nothing less than amazing. The service we recieved from Chris, Jane and Louise was second to none. They made everything seem so effortless at one of the hardest times and their attention to the small details was very much appreciated, nothing was too much trouble. Their caring and professional nature would be hard to beat.

My husband suddenly passed away, both our families live abroad, and losing a loved one – especially during the difficult times of a pandemic – is something even more difficult than usual. I knew that only an independent and local Funeral Director would be able to help me out, given my dislike of the commercial approach to funerals. I came across Brunel FD and from the very first chat, I felt as reassured as possible in such circumstances. What I value the most is how supportive Louise and Chris were, as they have taken the time to listen to me and to get an insight into the human being my husband was. They arranged a service which was meaningful to us and that was exactly what I wanted. Claire – the celebrant – was also so caring and took the time to learn polish words to make my husband’s family and heritage part of the service. Three months down the line, they’re still there for me and there is no price to pay for that. I would 100 percent recommend them.

I would highly recommend Brunel funeral directors. Brunel funeral directors did an outstanding job of arranging my mums funeral making my family feel at ease and cared for. They really looked after my mum when she was in there care, and when going to see she looked beautiful. Brunel funeral directors were always available to help with any query no matter how late or early it was. They went the extra mile and gave that extra special personal touch, I can’t thank them enough for all they did at a such a difficult and emotional time.

Do Not Bother to look anywhere else !! We interned my mother on Thursday. We enjoyed a beautiful and moving service for her and gave her the most wonderful send off. The service from Brunel was above and beyond….and one of the best things was that it was a one stop operation…the service and excellent celebrant, the flowers…which were stunning, the printing of the Service Orders and bookmarks. Westerleigh Crematorium was also a wonderful venue with very modern facilities for the music. Thank you all for your advice and guidance
